Each year, Scenic Ohio honors individuals, agencies and organizations that conserve and preserve Ohio’s many scenic resources. The purpose of 2018’s award is to recognize groups and organizations for their dedication to preserving Ohio farms and promoting tourism.

 

This year’s award recipients included:

• Bob Evans Farm

• Malabar Farm State Park

• Hale Farm & Village

• Adams County Clotheslines of Quilts

• Hancock County Historical Museum

• Historic Barn Tour Slate Run Living Historical Farm

Recipients were recognized at Scenic Ohio’s annual awards luncheon on November 16, 2018. The event featured two excellent presentations as well: “Malabar Farm and Sustainable Agriculture” by David Weaver of Ohioana Library, and “Saving the Land that Sustains Us” by Brian Brandt of American Farmland Trust.
